Bicycle sign projected onto the street

Here we have a sign indicating that a street is for cycling, photographed in Jyväskylä, Finland. The sign contents are bog standard white-rimmed blue disk showing a stylized icon of a bicycle¹. The sign vessel caught my attention here; this is a projection of the sign contents onto the street.

We note that Jyväskylä is located in central Finland, and the ground is at least partially covered in snow for large parts of the year. But this sign will most likely be visible even when signs simply painted on the ground won't be.
