This sign was in the stairway of a large hospital building. The text part states that storing any objects in the stairway is forbidden, and any such items will be removed without warning. There is a further emphasis of the seriousness in the text by the addition of the fire code that forbids blocking any emergency exit ares. This is pretty much standard verbiage in Finland, but what really drew my attention was the grid of images!
Instead of trying to select some icon for an object like a bicycle that would symbolise "all objects", they listed eight different possible objects like strollers, bicycles, boxes, all with a red "X" on top of it. To me this feels like an emphasis that they really do mean all kinds of blockers and not just some specific object.
I find it curious when some class of object is signified by some universal symbol, like a banana peel for trash or through enumeration.
