This dog sign was spotted near Mäntyharju, Finland. There are actually two signs, the upper one stating "VARO KOIRA VAPAANA" (BEWARE, AN UNTETHERED DOG) and the one below stating "VAROITUS Saksanpaimenkoira vartiossa" (WARNING, German shepherd on guard) with a silhouette of said dog breed.
We've written about dog signs several times before, and suffice it to say that this is another interesting example of how in more rural areas, dog signs tend to be warnings about dangerous dogs.
I once again marvel at the social construct where we're not allowed to threaten people with signs like "If you come here I will punch you!", but we can set up a sign saying "I have intentionally set loose this semi-wild animal here who might cause you harm, beware!".
