This post is part of our Boring series, where one Tuesdays we sometimes post analyses on signs we did not find particularly interesting. The idea is to offset personal biases.

This was not originally meant to be an image for Boring Tuesdays post. I took this image before I started the Boring posts, but having looked at this many times I can't really find anything interesting about it. I took the picture because I saw it on a tour in the parking garage of an office building in Helsinki, Finland and thought that I might find something to say about it. Alas I did not.
It depicts a simple house drawing with some solar panels and a sun shining on it. I've seen a few of these and I can only presume that they are some officially mandated related to solar power.1

In my very amateur understanding of solar power, one risk involved is that the panels don't have an "off" button per se. If there is light, they produce a voltage, and that can be dangerous. ↩
