This little sign was situated in the toilet of a Finnish train running between Helsinki and Jyväskylä. Next to the faucet and sink was a little hole on the side table where trash should be dropped into, and it was marked with this sign. It depicts a white stylistic icon of a classical trashcan on green background.
What caught my attention here is that that the actual trash receptacle here does not look at all like the "classical trashcan" depicted in the sign. So the sign is an icon of a literal trashcan, while that trashcan is then a symbol for this particular hole to place one's trash in. I find this often piquing my interest.
Note also that unlike some previous trashcan signs, this sign is not action-oriented but rather a "passive index" of where trash should exist.
